Vintage 1950s All-Star Jackie Brandt JC Higgins 1637 Rare Baseball Glove Mitt.

Left hand glove (RHT). It's roughly 11.5 x 9.5 inches. The glove is in good condition. As shown in the pictures it does show indications of use. It has all of its original stitching, lacing and leather. The leather has aged well, no holes, rips or tares on the leather. This glove still has a great shine to it, all it needs is some TLC. The inner lining where a person's hand goes is also in good condition, no damage other then a couple creases (which can be expected). Another positive aspect about this glove is that it still has the original JC Higgins tag intact. Now the only negative aspect to this glove is that the stitching has come loose on the strap where the JC Higgins tag is located, the bottom of the strap is not stitched to the rest of it (this is a simple and easy fix, it gives the glove a nostalgic look). Overall this is an amazingly and very rare/scarce Jackie Brandt JC Higgins 1637 baseball glove. It would go great with anyone's collection. Jackie Brandt was a outfielder who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York/San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros. Brandt was a 2x all-star in 1961 and received the Gold glove award in 1959. Please refer to all photos, thank you. Jackie Brandt JC Higgins baseball glove sold as is.
