This offering is for the remarked original Court Fee document shown in the photos.

The Court Stamp document is from the British Raj Period of India (1858-1947.)  This was the time that India was by the British and the Maharaja of Jaipur.  From the markings on this document, it appears that it dates from the 1920's.  It measures about 13-1/2" by 8-7/8".

The document has been remarked with a hand painted Indian Mughal scene that shows a nobleman's procession.  The practice of remarking old documents was used post- independence India to repurpose no longer needed Court Stamp documents for resale.  The painting on this document measures about 8" wide and 5-1/4" high.
