The item for sale is a reproduction of the logo decal found on many Northern Electric (NE) Plain Front (PF) Compact magneto wall phones produced from 1911 into the late '30s. Northern Electric was the Canadian subsidiary of Western Electric producing similar telephones for non-U.S. markets.  Color and dimensions (2-1/4"x5/8") are consistent with the original.

This item offers an acceptable replacement for a missing or deteriorated decal in the restoration of NE PFs, manufactured after 1911.   The decals are printed on WHITE backed waterslide decal paper, and must be submerged in hot (not boiling) water for a minute depending on water temp.

The original mounting location on the short transmitter bracket version 317C was centered 3/4" below the ringer gongs.
