With an imposing height of just over 3.5m, the generously sized Burgundian Knight Tent is a functional and sturdy camp tent with plenty of space. The assembly can be easily done by 5 to 6 people. Once the roof is up, just hang the two side walls using hooks and eyelets. A strip running all around the tent conceals and seals the junction between the roof and the walls. This medieval tent can also be used as an awning by simply leaving the side walls out. The awning offers good protection against sun and rain and is designed as a separate piece that can be assembled or disassembled according to your needs. The bottom edge closes with a piece of fabric that folds over at the interior and keeps dirt and dust out. The door closes with buckles and opens by simply rolling it up. The rear wall of the tent can also be opened to allow more air and light. Each iron center post and side post is also fitted with an extended bottom spike designed to be driven into the ground for proper securing.

This Burgundy tent is waterproofed and treated against mold and rot. The pure cotton canvas is particularly robust and tear-resistant but remains at a very affordable price, making this medieval tent an essential piece of equipment for medieval markets, military camps or LARP events.

All measurements are approximate and may vary from the actual product supplied. The tents are made by hand, which gives the man an authentic look on the one hand, but can also lead to one or two small flaws on the other hand. Cotton is a natural material that reacts differently to different external conditions and can significantly shrink or expand. Thus, the iron bars included in the delivery may not fit directly into the holes provided. It may be necessary in some cases to shorten the poles somewhat to the correct size. Do not try to stretch the tent skin by force, as this increases the risk of tearing the canvas or breaking the stitches.

Important information on assembly, handling and maintenance of our historic tents :

You can prolong the life of your knight's tent and enjoy its use even longer by observing the following precautions:
Do not stretch the ropes too much, as natural materials such as wood or cotton will deteriorate under the influence of moisture in the air and need room to contract and expand. This way you can avoid e.g. that the roof holes for the posts expand and eventually facilitate water entry. We recommend that you loosen the ropes slightly in the evening, as the air humidity increases considerably at night and can increase the risk of undue stress being placed on your tent. The ropes should also be somewhat loosened in the event of rain or high atmospheric humidity.
If the tent has been exposed to moisture, we strongly advise you to dry it after use, otherwise it may rot.
Never use detergents or any other cleaning product to clean your tent. The best way to remove dried-out dirt is to use a brush.
As for storing your tent for an extended period, please separate all accessories (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent itself and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure all items are dry and stored in a dry place.
