This is a .925 sterling silver treasures box charm/pendant. The lid is hinged and the hinge and latch work as intended.  The box measures 9.0 mm (0.35 in) by 6.4 mm (0.25 in) - not counting the latch depth.  The 9.8 mm (0.38 in) not including the 4.9 mm (0.19 in) bail. The design is that of a vintage treasures chest.  The thickness of the material comprising the sides and lid are 0.8 mm (0.03 in) thick.  This is a very special piece for the collector of charms and pendants.  This will be excellent to present with a tiny gift or message inside. Inside dimensions of the box are 5.0 mm (0.19 in) by 7.3 mm (0.28 in).  The estimated depth with lid closed is 5.0 mm (0.19 in).
