Here we have a great TV special film,..."Around The Beatles"

It was taped by ITV/Rediffusion at Wembley Park studio's on 28th April 1964 and was broadcast on tv on 6th May 1964, It is supplied on a 800ft spool in a hard plastic case, originally on 2 x 400ft spools.

We haven't tested or viewed the film, the following is a description from the person we bought it from :

The Print is in very good shape with no splices, (other than the one where the two reels were joined) and no sprocket hole damage. There is minimal wear on this print and it glides though both our Elmos and Bauer Projectors with no problems at all. There are light black lines some marks here and there but a fair amount of these are from the sourced material. Either way, for the age of this print I class it as very good. As always, this film has been treated lightly with filmguard.

The Sound is very good, bear in mind this is from a 1964 TV Show so don't expect hi-fi stereophonic sound with heavy bass, the sound is good and clear and like many films with the Beatles and other 60's pop stars, you do hear a lot of shouts and screams from the audience.

B/W print. As this is is b&w on b&w stock there is no problem with image as you can see from the screen shots.

This is indeed a genuine rare item. I try not to use the word rare due to the over use of it from other sellers, but after 41 years of collecting, this is the only print we have ever come across.
