Acer Aspire 5315 Black White Laptop 15.4" Windows 7 - Two Laptops One is for Parts

This listing is for two Acer Aspire 5315 laptops, one is working and the other is for parts. The first 12 photos are of the first laptop. Please read the following carefully.

*First Laptop*

Motherboard ICL50 L07, System BIOS V1.21, VGA BIOS V1518.

This laptop has been cleaned inside including the CPU fan and heatsink. All keys are working along with the Wi-Fi, DVD Drive, ram, audio and touchpad/mouse buttons. There are some scuff marks and wear to the casing but no cracks or serious damage. There is no charger included, the battery does charge however the battery performance is not guaranteed due to age. This may expire at any time.

The screen does have a little White damage to the top half perimeter of the screen. Not too noticeable but needs to be mentioned.

This machine has 1GB of PC2-5300S of Ram, Toshiba 80GB Sata 2 Drive, a Intel Celeron CPU @ 1.86GHZ, 3 USB Ports, a DVD-RW Drive, VGA Port, LAN Port, and a Microphone and Speaker Socket. The graphics are provided by the Intel Express 965 chipset resulting in a resolution of 1280x800. Wi-Fi is supplied by an internal Atheros Wi-Fi Card.

Windows 7 Home Premium 32BIT with SP1 is installed. This is a fresh installation. A few updates have been installed. Office 2013 is also installed along with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher and OneNote.

*Second Laptop*

Motherboard ICL50 L07, System BIOS V1.29, VGA BIOS V1518.

This laptop is missing the screen, charger, battery, hard drive and hard drive cover. The laptop does boot to the BIOS menu when using a charger, VGA cable and external display. There is no external display and VGA cable included.

I have cleaned the interior and inspected the various cables. The laptop is now back together after photographing all of the parts. The heatsink and CPU fan have been cleaned and are now working fine with the minimum of noise. I have also scanned the ram with MemTest which have reported no errors. I can confirm the keys are working as I booted to DOS and tested all of them successfully apart from the function keys. The function keys required to access and navigate the BIOS menu worked fine.

This machine has 1.5GB of PC2-5300S of Ram, a Intel Celeron CPU @ 2GHZ, 3 USB Ports, a DVD-RW Drive, VGA Port, LAN Port, and a Microphone and Speaker Socket. The graphics are provided by the Intel 965 Express chipset resulting in a resolution of 1280x800. Wi-Fi is supplied by an internal Atheros Wi-Fi Card.

The Windows Vista Home Basic COA is on the base of the machine. I have covered up the license code on the base. It is easily readable.

Cosmetically the casing is in excellent condition overall. The DVD Drive cover is missing. The screws to the CPU cover are missing, however this is secured in place regardless.
