Up for sale is one of our Custom Hand Crafted 1064/1081 8 channel Neve racks. Loaded with 2 each Neve Vintage 1064a modules. The modules are in great working condition, bench tested in our shop. Some minor scratchiness to the pots and switches but this is expected on 45-50 year old modules. All audio functions are working and fully tested. Cosmetically they are in good shape-silk screening in very good shape.
Our racks are all hand built- using point to point wiring -same as the Neve Vintage consoles. We utilize Mogami wire and Neutrik connectors. Bourns quality pots and high quality switches for 48v. A PC-edge board connector is installed as it is a far better connection to the modules than the original amphenol connectors. The power supply is a tried and true Linear Regulated 2.4 amp 24v supply.
This rack will fit both 1064 AND 1081 modules so you can mix and match.
The guide rails are metal as these are far more robust than the plastic ones that dry out and break over time. As well we have installed a support bar between module position 4 and 5 , to prevent the rack from "sagging" over time due to the weight of the modules. Old Vintage Neves had this problem in various portions of the consoles. All metal parts in the rack are high quality Aluminum.
This listing/sale is for our rack installed with 2 EACH 1064a modules. 2 Modules only. These two modules are all orig with no recapping done to them. I have additional modules that are recapped and some with newer ELMA rotaries installed on the attenuator postion switch assembly if you would like those instead.
The 1064 Module is the same as a 1066, only installed in a larger 12" tall module with singular controls, instead of dual concentrics as per the 1066/1073/1079/1084 etc.
Most VIntage Neve ( if not all) consoles have had a host of well know artists record through the consoles, as they have been in many studios around the world for 50+ years, and these modules are no acception. Pete Townshend owned the console the modules came from, as well a great studio in Sonoma wine country ( Prairie Sun Recording) had this console in use for many many years. Lots of "mojo" many great artists.

International shipping does not include entry fees into your location. These are your responsibility. International please contact me FIRST as shipping will have to be determined on your location as to whether it can ship USPS or it has to go Fedex/UPS -due to insurance requirements. ALL shipments must ship fully insured and we won't alter import docs either. ( sorry). I get very good rates from UPS for international.
Some sales may require buyer to pick up at UPS hub, not be delivered to home address etc- as High Dollar packages sometimes get left without direct signature of recipients, so we may require this on a transaction, please inquire to discuss all shipping related terms thank you.
We do not accept returns as a general rule ( and we have never had a return in 20 years on ebay-nor any damage in shipping) . Our gear ships with accurate description and we test all the gear we sell and sell with current electronic and cosmetic condition- whether it sells as-is or specified working condition.
