The internals of this machine have been cleaned, tested and checked including the motherboard, cables, heatsink and CPU fan. A new ML1220 CMOS battery has been installed. The time, date and BIOS settings are now remembered and will be until the CMOS battery fails. The fan is quiet and very little heat is produced. The keys, touchpad, mouse buttons, DVD Drive and ports have been tested and are confirmed as working. 

The ram and hard drive have been replaced and tested. The wi-fi card and charger are not included. The screen has been replaced. The original was smashed, I have installed a replacement that has a vertical line down the middle of the screen. This was a handy spare I had available.

Windows XP Home 32 BIT with Service Pack 3 has been installed and activated using the COA on the base. This is a fresh installation of the software. Also installed is Office 2010 Professional including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher, Visio, Project, Outlook, Onenote.

The Windows XP COA or Certificate of Authenticity is on the base of the machine. I have concealed the code on the photo uploaded.

Following my inspection, I have noted there is some wear to the touchpad and small scratches to the casing as a whole. 

The battery is installed and the release switch is a little loose. The battery does appear to charge, however the actual performance is unknown.
