Antique Sterling Silver Wild Rose Band Thimble Size 11 Simon Bros Circa early 1900's

This vintage sterling sewing thimble from Simons Bros. carries an embossed band of trailing "Wild Roses."

Measurements: approx 7/8” high, 3/4” wide across the finger hole, weighing 6.66 grams.

Markings: stamped inside the apex with the Simons hallmark and sterling silver, the size number is on the side.

Simons Bro & Co - Philadelphia PA was established in 1840 by John F. Simons and his three sons (John F., Frederick M. and Edwin S.) the firm was joined some years later by his brother Peter B. Simons.

Excellent condition, honeycomb is very crisp, no holes or repairs.
