Hand-knitted baby socks (new born) - about 3.5 inches (9cm) in the foot. Knitted with 75% wool/25% polyamide 4-ply Austermann sock wool on 5 double-pin needles, so no seams for greater comfort.  The toe on all my socks are grafted which gives it a natural rounded shape. You can see this quite clearly on the fifth picture.

Machine washable at 40 degrees (gentle cycle)/can be tumble-dired on a low heat setting.
