OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone V-Steel Rib 265 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.

The special tire compound and symmetric tread pattern enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tire maintains a firm road grip in all weather thanks to the all season tire compound and the ribbed tread design. The model also actively avoids hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and excellent all weather traction guarantee a safer year round driving experience.

The model promotes a comfortable and quiet drive. The ribbed tread pattern channels the airwaves through the tire's footprint, preventing them from coming into contact with the tread elements. As the road noise is not generated while the tires are in motion, this model ensures a quiet drive. The tire's internal structure features a polyester body cord that allows the tire to closely follow the road surface. The improved road contact in turn decreases the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. The lower road noise and vibration levels guarantee an enjoyable driving experience.

The ribbed tread pattern reduces the rolling resistance. The distributed driving pressure eases the stress off the tire and decreases the rolling resistance, which is the force affecting the tire that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The lessened rolling resistance reduces the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle, which makes the tire environmentally friendly and fuel efficient.

The V-Steel Rib 265's lowered rolling resistance also slows the tread wear rate down. The model's internal structure sports twin steel belts that increase the tread stiffness. As tread flexing is prevented, the tread design ensures that irregular wear pattern formations are prevented. This is achieved as the tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure across the entire tread area and guarantees a longer lasting even wear and tire usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
