'This is the original 1975 debut release, recorded at Festival Studios in Australia, and produced by David Russell (2) and Split Enz. In 1976, six tracks that were first recorded for "Mental Notes" (four of which, "Walking Down A Road", "Titus", "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Time For A Change", appeared on this album) were re-recorded in Britain, along with three new songs, for Split Enz' second release "Split Enz - Second Thoughts" (produced by Phil Manzanera), which was released outside Australasia as "Mental Notes".'
