The leader of the Youngbloods, Jessi Colin Young, who had a hit with "Get Together" and represented the flower movement in San Francisco, recorded this second album (1965) while he was working in Greenwich Village, New York before forming the band. The second album (1965).
It is an acoustic sound-oriented album with a perfect blend of folk, blues, and rhythm & blues, and can be considered to be Young's starting point.
