A mid-century solitaire diamond gold ring. 

The shank is 6mm wide, straight and engraved with two incised bands close to the top and bottom. 

The central section of the ring was covered by a layer of white gold . Little of that now remains . 

The central collet set diamond is 4mm diameter in an Old European cut. Approx 0.25 ct size O
