Vintage 1960s All-Star Don Kessinger Spalding 42-3465 Rare Baseball Glove RHT.

Left hand glove (RHT). It's roughly 11 x 9 inches. The glove is in good condition. As displayed in the pictures, it shows light to mild indications of use. This glove has all of its original stitching, lacing and leather. The leather has aged well, with no holes, rips or tares on the exterior of the glove. Now the lacing is fairly good, except for one area located on the basket/webbed part of the glove (One slot is loosened, which is an easy fix). Further more using the pictures as a reference, you can notice that the inner lining (where hand fits) is mildly worn down from use (can be expected from a used glove from the 60's). To conclude, underneath the wrist strap someone has marked in black marker "WOLFE". Overall this is a really great Don Kessinger Spalding baseball glove (Kessinger used similar model while in the MLB). Don Kessinger was a shortstop/manager who played for the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago White Sox's. Kessinger was a 6x all-star, received the Gold glove award twice, is in the Chicago Cubs baseball hall of fame and during the 1960s-1970s he was considered one of the best shortstops in baseball. Please refer to all photos, thank you. Spalding 42-3465 Don Kessinger advisory staff baseball glove sold as is.
