This is a set of five rare vintage round coasters, likely made in Germany in the 1940s. They depict an identical image of a Dutch girl and a water scene. The backs are faintly stamped with "Made in US Zone Germany".

These coasters measure approximately 2 3/4" across. The design is set on top of a backing and colorful butterfly wings, and is under a protective glass layer. There is a silver frame around the image...I don't know if it's real silver but it looks like it is.

The images are in very good vintage condition. A few have shifted slightly under the glass and a small green border is visible. The frames have some tarnish and a few small dents on them. Please see photos for details.
