Very rare original Cadillac clock for restoration. Per eBay policy this item has not been tested so it is listed as parts only not working. I recently purchased a quantity of parts through a third party from the estate of an avid Cadillac Collector. These parts range from the decades of the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s, all are from southern cars and have been stored away for decades. While far from perfect most are in rather well-preserved condition for parts that are roughly seventy years old. Meaning, nothing I have available would be appropriate for a show car, and there are no NOS parts. However, many parts would probably be fine for a driver caliber car with either minor restoration. My knowledge of these cars is quite limited so I have to rely on existing markings. Thankfully the previous caretaker notated the years on the parts in most cases. So, I feel like I will have a reasonably accurate description but if you feel like I missed the mark please feel free to let me know. See pictures for condition and wear. Please note - applications are based upon various sources. - Although I try to make sure research is correct - it can be flawed. Please check and make sure this part will work on your vehicle prior to purchase. Please read all descriptions and view all photos closely. I may have looked at dozens of broken original parts and know it’s difficult to find a good one that is not broken. You may be looking Taiwan or Chinese reproductions made with half the thickness an OEM part has, but has shiny paint. I think the reproductions are junk because I know from experience they don’t last, you may think my part is junk because the paint is not shiny. We may see things very differently so please take the time to really inspect this part because I love to help people find parts to complete their project, that’s my passion. I do not want a situation to unfold where someone is unhappy with their purchase of one of my parts, that takes all the fun out of a hobby that means so much to me. If you feel like you need to see more or I missed something of importance please let me know and I’ll gladly take additional photos to help you make a more well informed decision. Please know that all of my parts are sold untested and are for restoration purposes, if it ends up being ready to install that’s a bonus for you! While these are 50 year old parts the vast majority of them have been stored away inside since the early to mid-1990’s so they will have fared better than most.
