A rare huge red coloured melon- or pumpkin-shaped star glass bell jar lantern from Belgium, circa 1890 for the Anglo Indian Market - Sent to india for metal to be added. Diameter 28cms have never seen one as big and also has very rare star engraved details and comes with an antique ceiling rose too- Wow!

A rare huge Cranberry or Ruby Red  coloured star engraved glass melon or pumpkin shaped bell jar lantern from Belgium, circa 1890. The colour is in the cranberry family, but is closer in hue to that of a Burmese ruby. The hand blown glass is of very good quality,  Originally for candlelight, the pendant has been electrified in the past and is delivered ready to install (by qualified electrician) using the toned brass ceiling canopy and ample chain that we provide (as shown).- Very Rare Find in this colour and condition - have not found another of this size ever.
