1952 Red Man Baseball - # 24 Bobby Thomson, 3B/OF, New York Giant

The 1952 Red Man Baseball Card Set was the first national issue of baseball cards by a tobacco company in decades. Red Man took advantage of the popularity of the game and its' exciting young stars and inserted large, colorful cards inside its' product. The 1952 Red Man Set consists of 52 cards, each measuring 3½" by 4" with the tabs, and 3½" by 3½" without the tabs. The 1952 Red Man cards with the tabs still attached, are harder to find, and sell at a premium.  The Set is the first of four issues and featured "the best" 25 players in each league, plus the World Series Managers.  The 1952 issue would be the only Red Man appearance for Hall-of-Famers Ted Williams and Bob Feller.

Condition of the card is F/G with no tab, brutal corners, rough edges, small crease in upper right corner - see pics
