Great vintage rppc / real photo postcard (Ludwig photo) created for the Dams workforce. Some information on back of card by tourists who loved the experience. More on the Dam and Mason City below:

Mason City, Washington, on the shore of the Columbia River just downriver of Grand Coulee Dam, 1937. Mason City was created by the federal government and the Dam's contractor, as a planned town that would provide a high standard of living for its workforce. Mason City, on of the "towns the New Deal built," became a tourist attraction that boosters hoped emphasized the social vision of the New Deal and the ability of American technology to provide a high standard of living, beautiful homes, and recreational amenities for all Americans.- Washington dot E D U.
