Rare Mid-Century LOS CASTILLO Mexico Sterling Silver & Inlaid Gemstone Pendant / Brooch

This awesome piece was made around the 1940s by famous jewelry designer Los Castillo in Taxco, Mexico and features a very powerful Mayan or Aztec design with the shape of a Jaguar head inlaid with semi-precious gemstones.

Very good vintage condition with some patina according to age.

This stylish piece measures approx. 2 1/8" long x 1 3/8" wide and weighs ca. 22.2 grams. Marked "Sterling" and carrying Los Castillo's designer mark along with the Mexican "eagle" mark.
