Dropkick Murphys will release their 10 th studio album, Turn Up That Dial, on April 30, 2021.
With Turn Up That Dial, the Dropkick Murphys celebrate the simple joys of music, as band founder and co-lead vocalist Ken Casey says, "The overall theme of this record is the importance of music. hope that the album will free everyone from their worries."

The recording took place at Q Division studios in Somerville, Massachusetts, with the band's longtime producer Ted Hutt.
The work progressed in shifts with two members recording at once, and in the final weeks of recording, Hutt conducted sessions via video conference from his studio in Los Angeles.

For example, in the case of backing vocals, microphones were installed in five different rooms so that everyone could sing safely.
The 11 track album, which includes the previously released Smash   Up, Mick Jones Nicked My Pudding, I Wish You Were Here and Middle Finger, will be released on the band's own label, Born & Bred.
