Up for sale is an old vintage or antique Hand Painted Chinese
vertical hanging scroll painting, mounted on paper with brocade silk borders. The image features a hilly landscape with a small stream in
foreground, deer in meadow, blooming cherry tree and stunning pagoda next to tall pine tree with crescent moon above. The scroll shows a patina from age on the paper portion; I'm sure it was lighter at one point.
Calligraphic inscription and artist's seal lower right. I tried to have the inscription translated on Fiverr, but all they could tell me is that it meant "Rivulet" or stream. Condition is very good for age with small tear on border paper near top of scroll, light foxing minor creases. The tear can probably be repaired but that's for the buyer to decide. Please take a look at the high resolution pictures for condition and details.
