I am a self taught artist currently working from my home studio in Killingworth , CT. I love painting and creating unique art . I prefer working with acrylic paint but sometimes I will use oil or watercolor. I often get asked where I get my reference pictures from . I use deviant art for reference pictures, sometimes I will use myself or a picture of a family member. At this point , painting is my full time job, this is how I pay my bills. I try to have my art at affordable prices and I think my prices are very fair considering how much time I put into my pieces and the cost of supplies. Sometimes people do not realize how many layers of paint it takes to create one of my paintings. My paintings take me several days to created from start to finish. Sometimes I become personally attached to my pieces and I have a hard time letting certain pieces go. I actually have a few pieces that are so special that I won't part with them. I get asked a lot if I do custom work and for the most part I do not. Occasionally I will make an exception. The cost of such a thing is much higher in price than the originals that I have made using my own ideas. This is due to the fact that it will take me longer and I most likely will not offer prints or products with the custom design. The supplies that I use for my art are of good quality. I use arches watercolor paper for my paintings that are painted on paper. I absolutely love this paper. I also use high quality paint for my paintings. On my prints only use Epson ultra premium luster paper which costs a bit more but the results are beautiful. It's like the ink just shimmers across the paper but it's not too shiny.
