What's in it?

Indigenous to South America, the Theobroma Cacao plant is known as "The Food of the Gods". Our Organic, Cacao Butter certainly feels like a gift from the gods, with a rich, deep aroma and creamy chocolate flavour. An essential ingredient in chocolate making, the butter is Cold Pressed.
What are the Benefits?

Our Organic Cacao Butter Buttons are a healthy fat. It is rich in beneficial Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids and contains the compounds Phenethylamine and Anandamide which are purported to be mood boosting phytochemicals. Antioxidant rich and one of the most stable fats on earth - you can even rub it on your skin - it makes an excellent, easily absorbed moisturiser.
Quality and Manufacture

Our Organic Cacao Butter Buttons are derived from cacao beans grown in rich and fertile soil that adheres to the strictest of organic standards. The Cacao beans are harvested, and left to ferment in boxes for a few days, then they are laid on trays and sundried. Next the shells are removed and the nibs are retained, then the nibs are then milled until they turn into Cacao liquor. The mass is then pressed, so that the Cacao butter is excreted and a solid Cacao cake is left. The cake is then ground into powder, and the butter is retained and moulded into delicious buttons.

How do I take it?

Cacao Butter Buttons have a wonderful light heavenly aroma, and slightly bitter sweet chocolate taste, they can be used to make chocolate bars by adding Cacao powder. This can be sweetened with a naturally sweet super-food such as coconut blossom nectar, fruit powder, dried fruit, dried berries, agave nectar, honey, or the herbal sugar free sweetener Stevia. All orders to the UK are dispatched by Yodel or Royal Mail. This includes England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands.

We also offer expedited delivery; this includes England, Scotland, Wales, but no islands or highlands.

All international orders to the rest of world are dispatched by Royal Mail airmail. (Does not include Africa)

• The Yodel & Royal Mail First Class delivery service aims to deliver the next day, (however this is not guaranteed so in some cases can take a little longer.)

• If we cannot keep our customer promise to you, we will email you to let you know with an estimated real-time dispatch time, just to keep you in the picture.

The Royal mail estimate these delivery times:

Western Europe within 3 working days, Eastern Europe within five working days, Rest of World within seven working days. (However this is not guaranteed)

WHAT TO DO IF MY PARCEL IS DELAYED

We can track & Trace your parcel if it is being delivered by either Yodel or the Royal Mail Expedited Service. If for whatever reason they have tried to deliver but could not , you can arrange for them to re-deliver the next day.

However if your parcel does get lost in the post we offer a full guarantee that we will send your order out to you again. We normally give a period of time until we call the parcel lost, as in many cases it has been held up and is delivered late. For the UK, we wait 15 working days, for over-seas we wait 20 working days and then if you goods have still not arrived we will send them again.

If you wish to cancel your purchase, under the distance selling regulations you have a period of seven working days from receiving your goods to do so. However at Indigo Herbs we extend that period to 30 working days. Please return the unopened products with a note of your order number and reason for cancellation. When we receive the returned goods we will refund you via paypal for the sale price of the purchase. (Not including additional postage costs).

If you are not satisfied with your products, please get in touch and we will arrange to send a replacement product or arrange a refund (if the product is unopened).All postage and package costs remain the responsibility of the customer, unless we delivered an item to you in error, or the item is damaged or faulty.
