Well many riders don't want to carry a full multi tool with lots on non applicable bits say during an Enduro race (unnecessary weight and bulk), nor do they want a big chunky multi tool next to their hip or thigh bones when they are sending it across a gap.

However they do want to be able to tweak their ride between runs.

Many riders we spoke to carry one of these and maybe a 5mm allen wrench which covers all of their hexagonal needs.

We decided to make our own cost effective alternative to Fox tools 398-00-746 and 398-00-525.
