These flipbooks cover every subject under the sun and were inspired
by the imaginations of seven generations of artists and writers.

I was surprised to see these early flipbook movies.
Many of them were among the first, appearing long before the advent of silent films.

Some are funny. Mickey Mouse was a bit of a scamp.
He notices the cheese. Steps up on a mousetrap and spits a
high-arcing wad that lands on the mousetrap's trip button,
launching his body into the air toward the cheese.

Some movies quickly show you the concept,
like how an engine works, or how a power of ten expands the galaxy.

One movie is the actual duo of a young Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy trying out a hat joke.

These are just 3 movies; I've recorded over 1,230 of them.

You can read and browse at random. There is no incorrect
way to read this book.

So, get some popcorn.
Pull up a comfortable chair,
and let the show begin.
