This is an extravagant creation in metal from a period of time known for its glamour and wealth.

There are no marks to provide information about the French fabricator of such an exquisite lamp.

I do not have any information of its past owners before the 1930s.

The harp, socket, finial, cord and plug are of a later date.

It needs a felt pad below the lamp's base.

It is being sold without a lamp shade.
