There are various theories, but the band name "Brujeria" is a Spanish word that refers to black magic, which was born during the Dark Ages.
The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1989, with the members kept secret, and debuted with a 7-inch EP in 1990.
Although it is not officially open to the public, its members include some of the strongest representatives of the extreme music scene.
After that, they released their debut album in 1994, and after secretly changing members, they have released four albums so far.
In 2017, they participated in Loud Park 17 and made their long-awaited first visit to Japan.
A return performance has been decided for March 2020.
In conjunction with this, a commemorative edition of Japan's original edition will be released.
