What else to know?
Hot-process soap making dates back to around 2800 BC in ancient Babylon and we bring back this tradition today using the finest ingredients. First, the pistachio and olive oil is brought into stainless steel vessels along with water and lye. Underneath the vessels, there is an underground fire (we use olive pulps as fuel)and all the content starts boiling. Boiling lasts days, even weeks while the oil reacts with the lye and water to form a thick liquid soap. After it is mixed in, the mix is poured over large trays. Just at the right time and temperature, the soap is cut and stamped by hand without causing it to break. Once they have dried sufficiently, they are put into a special air to be aged for 3 to 6 months. While it is aging, the soap goes through several chemical changes. The free alkaline content of the soap (the alkaline which did not react with the oil during saponification) breaks down upon slow reaction with air. The moisture content of the soap is also reduced, making the soap hard and long lasting.
Our products are handmade in small batches using traditional methods. All of our products are natural. 100% vegetable oils and bittim oil used. No chemical additives, colour and perfume are used. It is recommended to use for whole body and hair. Suitable for all skin types.
What is the Ph value?
It is between 9 and 10.
Does it cause dryness on the skin?
It purifies skin without damaging the natural flora of the skin. Cold pressed olive oil obtained from Ayvalık's olive groves form a base for the Ripe Pistachio Oil.
How to Use: Make the soap lather on your face. Leave it for 1-2 minutes and rinse with warm water. Repeat a second time depending on your skin structure. Lather on wet hair. Wait 1-2 minutes and rinse with warm water. Avoid contact with eyes.
Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into the eyes rinse well with water immediately. Discontinue to use if there is any redness or itching. Due to the content of essential oils the colour of the soap may vary over time. Do not store in direct sunlight.
