Spitting Images Prince Charles Jug
Made by Carlton Ware in the 1980's. Part of their 'Spitting Image' range based on the popular Fluck & Law TV Series.
Approx. 19.5cm tall.
This piece is an interesting one, Believed to be a pre-production model of a piece that did not get widely produced. The Spitting Image pieces were made in white ceramic and not painted, This one is painted. There are some kiln cracks under the glaze as pictured and some crazing to the glaze in places. The Carlton Ware factory sold 'second quality' pieces at their factory and I am told this was likely purchased from there.
Other than the factory flaws as mentioned the piece is in very good condition.
A rare find!
