What are crochet stitch markers?

These markers are designed with a clasp that opens, so you can hook it onto a strand of yarn that has already been worked. Crochet stitch markers mark important places in the project, such as the beginning of the round when crocheting bags, amigurumi, toys, hats, dresses and other circular projects. You open it and slide it off the previous yarn loop, then clip it back on in the new section of yarn to continue the pattern.
