RARE Antique Circa 1905 Ridgways Royal Semi Porcelain England Flow Blue Soup Bowl Tureen. This beautiful soup tureen is in the Flow Blue LADAS Pattern with Gold Accent. Features double handles on the bottom and a handled lid with opening for a soup ladle. In great condition for its age, there are two chips to the underside of the lid, which can only be seen when the lid is turned over. It does not show from the top of the lid at all. There is no crazing to this piece which is unheard of with porcelain pieces this old. It must have been kept inside a china cabinet to have remained in such immaculate condition for over 100 years! The flow blue floral pattern is crisp and vibrant in color. The only other flaws, if you could call them that, would be the loss of gold outline paint to the rim and handles.

Inside of the tureen are three flea bites, or skips that is common in the production of antique porcelain like this. By no means does it take away from the beauty of this piece. However, I try to list any and all flaws that I see, as well as taking close up pictures. I am not an expert, though, so please look closely at the many detailed pictures as I have taken, so you can observe the quality and condition of the item I have listed for yourself.

Blue Ridgways England stamp to the bottom along with the number 15 and an impressed number or letter which is hard to read. Measures 12” Across Handle to Handle with a depth of 3 1/2”. With the lid it measures 5 3/4” High and has a four leaf clover shape to it which measures 9 1/4” in Diameter at mid point of each clover.

This beautiful lidded soup tureen would look amazing anywhere in your home. It could be the hard to find piece you’ve been waiting for to complete your dinnerware collection!
