Note: This is a modified pickguard, made for individuals who want to put P90 style pickups in their Melody Makers. We do not guarantee these pickguards loaded with P90's will fit your Melody Maker without modifying the pickup routes on your guitar body. Also, we do not guarantee these will fit your guitar body if it's already been modified for p90's. Please ask any questions you might have before you purchase. We are normally very prompt in our responses.

5 Ply Black/Cream Dual P90 Pickguard for Gibson Melody Maker D from 1959, 1960 and 1961 (and certain 1962's). Please peruse the photos closely and compare to your Melody Maker's knob/ switch AND BRIDGE/TAILPIECE layout to verify compatibility. These pickguards fit the ones with the tilted wraparound bridge.
We had our favorite cad cutter reproduce the "MELODY MAKER" logo in a white thin vinyl and have applied them. You likely won't find a more cool looking Melody Maker D guard than this. This listing is specifically for the SINGLE PLY black one.

Note: Photos show a pickguard with the protective plastic still on it. It is not scratched or matte looking, it is glossy.

And as always, screws are included and your ultimate satisfaction is our goal.

International Customers

Due to the extremely high cost of shipping internationally, and the even more extreme cost of RETURN shipping, we reserve the right to cancel international orders. We promise to do our best to communicate with you to make sure you get the correct guard for your guitar, but if we don't receive responses to our communication attempts, we will cancel the order. We've simply had enough people not read the descriptions or assume that a pickguard will fit their instrument without using any due diligence whatsoever--then expect us to pay for return shipping--that it's literally killing us. We won't do it anymore. If you find a pickguard that you think will fit your guitar, contact us and include the make, model and year of your guitar for verification BEFORE you order. If we don't hear from you or you don't respond to us we will cancel the order. Period.
