Vintage, miniature hand painted bisque fishing boy and girl in bright, rich colors!  Nice for a shelf, planter, windowsill, aquarium fish tank or fish bowl. Also good for a terrarium, miniature display or fairy garden. On the reverse you'll see the girl hugging the boy; so sweet!  Love those pink cheeks!  Complete with the original seat and fishing pole which are often missing.  This is new old-stock.  From Occupied Japan (1945 to 1952).  Never displayed, used or owned.  Please see the "item specifics" above and the paragraph below for more detail ↓↓↓

Can be displayed with or without the seat which has a hook for hanging. A wonderful piece to add to an Occupied Japan collection.  There are the usual manufacturing mishaps often seen in pieces from Occupied Japan; some tiny spots of roughness and a bit of misplaced or missing paint.  All in all a very good figurine.  Incised Made in Occupied Japan on the back of the girl and stamped on the bottom of the seat.  A very charming piece!  You will receive the exact figurine in the photos.
