    这套邮票自征集圣物、策划、设计文稿历经三年，选择在习近平在陕西西安佛教圣地接待佛教诞生国印度总理莫迪这个时间，是独具匠心，极具佛教文化伟大历史纪念意义的。它将随着中印两个佛教大国再结佛缘。重叙旧好，留下伟大的历史印记。

    此套充分展示了佛教文化内含的大型历史邮票，以及三件佛教圣物，在北京由陕西法门寺、北京朝阳禅寺、河北光泰禅寺等108位寺院方丈、住持开光、发心、加持之后，将分赴香港、澳门、台湾、新加坡、马来西亚、柬埔寨等十七个东南亚佛教国家和地区举行各种朝拜、迎请、展示等佛事活动。

    此套邮票的出版发行，将昭示着中国佛教文化的传承、发展都进入了一个鼎盛时期。又因为此套邮票被限量出版印刷发行，然后举行毁版限量，所以，每套邮票更显得弥足珍贵。
