ITEM:  Genuine hand-signed SIGNATURE on record company "shiki" style sign board PLUS a used Tokyo 1976 concert ticket  

SIZE (approx):  24 x 26 cm (shiki board)

CONDITION:  

The sign board has some minor wear, creasing and other imperfections but has been carefully stored by the original owner and is in very nice condition for an original item of this era.

The ticket has been used, has a small area of handwriting but is in great condition overall.

Hand signed GENUINE Charles Mingus signature on a Japanese Warner Pioneer “shiki” style signature board, offered together with a used ticket stub from the Japanese Charles Mingus Tokyo show of 20th July 1976.

Authentication points:

There is some smudging in the vicinity of the signature.

There are pressure “spots” of thicker ink areas visible on the REVERSE of the shiki where pen lines overlap or when the pen was momentarily paused during the signature. Photos 8-12 show this and are back-lit to make the "uneven" pen pressure easier to see. Photo number 5 is the back of the item under "normal" conditions.

We do NOT have a certificate of authenticity and the item is offered on this basis.

The “shiki” is an official Japanese Warner Records original item.

The ticket has a small “S 51” handwriting, this is the Japanese notation for “Showa 51” which corresponds to 1976 in the “western” calendar system.
