PRIOR TO PURCHASING PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING AND WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW AS THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE EFFECT THIS SUBSTRATE GIVES TO YOUR PRINTED GRAPHICS.

This listing is for ONE HUNDRED 8.5in x 11in sheets of professional quality inkjet printable CHROME HD Metal film.

This ultra glossy metalized film is 5mil in thickness and is ideal for use with professional plotters as well as hobby-grade vinyl cutters and can be printed on using any desktop or wide-format dye or pigment inkjet printers.

This is a dual-purpose substrate - not only can you print on it for incredibly unique inkjet-printed graphics but you can also cut it into shapes or pinstripes to use as an accent for any project. Your imagination is the only limiting factor with this material!

Tips regarding use and handling of this substrate;

- Consider wearing non-marring nylon gloves when handling as it is extremely glossy and prone to finger prints.

- Store it completely flat (between two sheets of glass or under something heavy works best) until you're ready to use it so your printer's rollers can grab it cleanly. I will ship it flat in a cardboard sleeve. I recommend storing the substrate in this sleeve and placing glass or heavy books on top until you're ready to print on it.

- Store it in a clean area. You'll notice this material creates a lot of static charge and becomes a magnet for dust and other particles. You can also blow it off with compressed air before and after printing on it. Any accidental marks from handling it can usually be buffed out with a lint-free microfiber cloth. Make sure the material is as clean as possible before printing and again before lamination.

- Please keep in mind that the material itself and the adhesive are waterproof but your water-soluble ink is not. That means you will need to protect your prints using a laminate. Please see my listing for 3M Scotchcal 8518 glossy laminate. Any self-adhesive laminate can be use and is required to be applied using a cold roll laminator as this will maximize adhesion between the substrates and create the best barrier against moisture.

Regarding how to use this product with your vinyl cutter;

- If you have a hobby-grade cutter like Cricut or Silhouette, you will need to be aware of how much force your machine is capable of and you will need to do test cuts starting starting with your highest available force and working backwards until you reach optimal settings. If you have questions regarding whether your machine will work with this material, I always recommend contacting the manufacturer. Please also feel free to message me with any questions.

- A carrier sheet (also known as a cutting mat) is necessary when using this material in a plotter/vinyl cutter. Because this material is thicker and heavier than other vinyls, a carrier sheet will help keep the material flat and smooth which will result in the most accurate cuts.

- Because this substrate is ULTRA GLOSSY, you may need to dull your registration marks in order for your cutter or plotter to pick them up. You may try masking tape, Scotch tape, etc. Please note - some models of vinyl cutters will specify the types of substrates which can be used with it so please check your manual or call the manufacturer if you plan to purchase this material. Again, please also feel free to message me with questions.

Please note - higher quality printers made by Epson, Canon, and HP which contain 6-8 inkjet cartridges will give you the best quality result and a greater color spectrum with this and any other inkjet printable substrate. Higher-end printers will also have higher-end rollers which are made for use with heavier materials such as this.

If you're looking for larger quantities of vinyl, please message me for a quote.
