About the GT-R Z-tune
Tamiya has created an all-new mold to produce the body for this 1/24 scale NISMO GT-R Ztune. JGTC Champion team NISMO has turned its skills towards producing the ultimate road car, and we thought it was only right to do it justice with a truly excellent model. The NISMO team took a Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) base and hand-built it into a totally customized supercar. The resulting GT-R Z-tune made a huge splash during its unveiling at the 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon. Upgrades to internal mechanics include the souped-up 2.8L twin turbo engine with 500hp output, Sachs special suspension system and brakes jointly designed with engineers from Brembo.
