About the stamp:
The stamp brings the logo of the 28th Edition of the World Youth Day - WYD Rio2013. The elements of the WYD symbol form the image that symbolizes the heart of the disciple who receives Jesus. In the center, the statue of Christ the Redeemer represents the welcoming of the Brazilian people. At the top of the heart, there is the picture of the Sugar Loaf, a universal symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The cross intensifies the sense of the Brazilian territory, also known as Land of the Holy Cross. The shapes that finalize the image of the heart are in blue, signifying the coast of Brazil. Complementing the art, there are the initials, the name, the city and the country where the meeting will be held. The technique used was computer graphics.
