This is a vintage Singer model 401a sewing machine cabinet.  Amazingly the Formica top is undamaged and in excellent condition.  The rest of the cabinet appears to be walnut and walnut veneers.  The wood finish is worn off in many spots but the wood is solid.  Prior to shipping I will remove the legs to make it easier to ship.  When I remove them I will wipe everything down with Old English.  Most sewing cabinets are wood and the wood dries out because no one thinks to oil them periodically.  This cabinet is solid but the finish on the wood is worn.  Use the mouse over feature to look at it before you buy.

The mounting bracket for holding the foot pedal is still in place.  So is the knee lever so you can use your knee to activate the sewing machine if you put the foot pedal in the bracket.  The opening for the sewing machine is 16 5/8" by 7 1/16".  It will fit many machines.  Closed, the cabinet measures approximately 24 3/4" wide by 17" deep and 31 7/8" high.  The distance between the hinge pins is 9 5/8" center to center.  Shipping quote is for the contiguous states.
