UKGM - The Pirate That Never Was !
Crispian St John

60min Compact Disk (Not MP3)

This 75min recording is a studio quality (1974) of a test transmission by Crispian St John for the proposed fort based station UKGM, (not the 1966 UKGM). Very little is known about this project. Was it a genuine attempt to use one of the forts in the Thames estuary, a bit of fun or simply a bit of wishful thinking? whichever it was, the Quality is very good and the professionalism of Crispian St John is there for all to hear.

The recording has been provided to us courtesy of the Southern Independent Radio Association (S.I.R.A) Audio CD

With The Offshore or Pirate Radio enthusiast and/or Collector in mind.

The majority of the presenters or DJs in these recordings are unfortunately deceased and the stations have long since closed down or ceased trading, hence their historical nature.
