An original Batik on 100% Zimbabwean cotton,  can be labor intensive process.  A typical production day sees the potatoes and rubber blocks cut each morning in preparation for the day’s batiking and dyeing process, then moving on to the preparation of the pigments. The batiking of the fabric  is very labor intensive.
