Original Vintage Tomy Armstrong Mobile Command Poweride, NO.6026, Boxed, V RARE

Item has been played with, then in storage for some time. The model looks to be in good condition, there are signs of wear such as marks, scratches, scrapes, dings, sticker peel, colour fading etc but nothing too drastic, the item looks great. The box has some wear and tear to it such as marks, dings, scrapes, bending, inner flap damage and flap torn off etc but still looks great and displays well. Please study the photos to gauge condition for yourself, the photos form an important part of the description.

Currently not working but includes original battery and power supply, I am assuming the battery will need replacing as it's not been used for years and is 40 plus years old, I did try charging but got nothing from it
The small hook/bracket that is on the microphone has snapped off but is included
One of the joysticks has been taped up, not sure why but I haven't removed the tape
The arms have been removed so it fits in the box, I think the joysticks need to be removed also to be able to close the lid but I may just pad it out and not remove but put in a larger box (buyer can advise on what they would like me to do)
Despite what i've mentioned it's a very rare collectable item that still looks brilliant and with abit of work could be back up and running again

This was the first mobile rider that used joysticks in the 80's

Joy Sticks - The means to control the Armstrong
Microphone - Amplify your Voice, Siren, Lazer, and Horn sound Effects
Arms - Moves UP, Down, Open and Closes
Eyes - Will light up when you move, talk, sound the Siren, Lazer, or Horn
Body - Moves forward, backward and turns right or left to 360 degrees and stops
Wheels - Rear wheels are the control wheels - Front wheels are free wheeling

Functions:
Ride on robot single seat. Joystick allows you to go in four directions
Eyes light up when driven;
Comes with attached "Walkie-talkie"- makes 3 diferent sounds and also functions as a loudspeaker;
*second joystick allows you to pick objects up of the ground (arms go down, move together, move apart, move up etc);

Limitations:
Armstrong ® - 65 Lbs Max limit (weight person riding)
Arms Limit - 2 Lbs Max Pick up weight.

Dimentions - Size: 85 cm long (including arms) 48 cm high x 34 cm wide.
Rechargable Batteries - (2) ea. 6V 4 AH lead acid batteries.
Charger - input 120 Volt AC 60 Hz - Output 12 Volt DC 5 W. Full Charging takes 12 to 16 Hours with this Charger, Fuse - 10 amp

Very collectable and hard to find with especially with original box
