SUPERB QUALITY ANGLO INDIAN VIZAGAPATAM TRINKET BOX c1900
A beautiful example of the highly decorative fretwork and faux tortoiseshell work which has become so popular in recent years.

It is rare to find such a delicate item in such near pristine condition. The hinges are sound and the lid fits snuggly with the base. The fret work is complete, one pinhead missing to top, tiny edges of veneer missing, but hardly worth mentioning.
Split to the wood inside from heat, but you cant see when the lid is closed.
A fine, highly collectible item.
