Vintage child's kaleidoscope, Colorforms vtg 1987. This is a cardboard kaleidoscope that does not have an independent rotating function - in other words you have to turn the entire tube. It looks to me like it was something that would have been a prize at the fair or similar.
There appears to be dust in the tube that can be seen when you view through it. We have not tried to clean it out. Otherwise working order.
