2013 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance quilted vest made for the event by Credit Suisse. The back of the vest features a silk screened panel depicting a 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 racing car with Stillwater Cove in the background. Hunter green. Size XS. (Seriously extra small — measurements below.)
The DBR1 was, arguably, Aston Martin's most successful racing model, racking up an impressive series of wins piloted by racing legends like Stirling Moss, Carroll Shelby, and Tony Brooks. In 1959, Aston took the top two spots at the Le Mans 24-hour race with the DBR1, and finished the season with a World Sportscar Championship to its credit.
This is a super-sharp, high-quality vest, showcasing Credit Suisse's sponsorship of the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours, as well as other noted classic car events: the Goodwood Revival and the Monaco Grand Prix historic races. Quilted cotton-blend vest has a soft sueded feel, faux suede trim, and ribbed side insets. Credit Suisse logo on the right chest and back of the collar. On the left front, a 2013 Pebble Beach Concours patch overlapped by a Credit Suisse historic motorsport team patch.
On the back, Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance is embroidered in copper-toned letters. Below the screened Aston Martin panel embroidered the three events listed above, and another Credit Suisse patch.
Fully featured vest—full-length zipper backed by a baffle to keep the wind out, ribbed collar lining for warmth, hand warmers pockets. Never worn, from the collection of a Concours VIP. Appears unworn. In exceptional condition.
