For sale is this antique crumb scoop and brush. The crumber is marked Sheffield Silver on Copper FBR 1697. I believe it is silver-plate and perhaps is from the FB Rodgers Silver Company here in Massachusetts. It has a beautiful shine, and with a little more polishing would be exquisite.
The brush does not have any marks...it has a JJW monograph but no company identifiers. Unsure if it is silver, silver-plate, or another material. Unsure of the bristle type, I suspect hog hair, doubt synthetic. Unsure if it goes with the crumber, though they were together from the estate in which this was purchased.
Overall a nice set for a good price...
