This majestic bronze eagle standing on a globe mounted on marble. Depicting the eagle standing on a globe and staring out spotting a potential prey from a very long distance. The eagle is getting ready to hunt! This bronze eagle has fine detailing throughout the entire piece. Excellent detail of eyes, feathers and claws. The old fashion casting created beautiful and realistic details in his plumage. The rich dark bronze patina remains as found from age. It has normal wear with age and use . I don't see any damage or restoration to this amazing, probably early c.1900, solid bronze eagle.Please view all pictures for more information and to judge condition for yourself.
